Iranian twin sisters clinch two medals in 2017 ICF Canoe Marathon World Cup

Iranian twin sisters Saqar and Saqi Khaqani have exhibited admirable athletic skills at the 2017 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Marathon World Cup, and managed to scoop two medals in the tournament.

Saqar Khaqani finished second in the 16-kilometer marathon section of the competitions in the eastern Chinese city of Shaoxing, and received the silver medal, the Rowing Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported.

Her sister, Saqi, claimed the third position on the podium, and pocketed a bronze medal.

The 2017 ICF Canoe Marathon World Cup kicked off on October 21, and came to an end on October 27.
