Iran’s chief of staff visits Syria

The chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces has concluded a visit to Syria after meeting the country’s President Bashar al-Assad and a number of other high-ranking officials. The visit highlights the high level of cooperation between the 2 nations which has risen significantly since the Syria conflict began in 2011.
