Iranian female wushu practitioner Zahra Kiani has staged praiseworthy displays of physical and mental skills at the 14th edition of World Wushu Championships, and been awarded a bronze medal.
On Monday, Kiani won 9.56 points to grab the bronze in the Jianshu form of Taolu competitions in the western Russian city of Kazan.
A representative from South Korea pocketed the gold medal with 9.65 points, while a Japanese contestant collected the silver, having tallied 9.62 points.
Jianshu is a form of Taolu, where the participant uses a sword as the main element of the routine.
The 14th edition of World Wushu Championships kicked off on September 27, and will run through October 3, 2017.
