Iranian referee Mahsa Ghorbani and lineswoman Samaneh Mohseni will officiate at the 2017 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-16 Women's Championship, which is currently underway in Thailand.
The AFC, in a letter addressed to the two Iranian women, officially invited them to referee at the continental sporting event.
The 2017 AFC U-16 Women's Championship opened in the eastern Thai city of Chonburi on September 10, and will finish on September 23.
China is drawn in Group A along with Laos, South Korea and host nation Thailand.
Group B consists of Australia, Bangladesh, Japan and North Korea.
The top three teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay as the AFC representatives.
