The war in Afghanistan “cannot be won” because the United States seeks to maintain control of the country, which has vast resources, says a journalist.
“America came to Afghanistan to stay” and the American authorities keep “waging war to occupy it forever,” Stephen Lendman told Press TV on Wednesday.
“The war in Afghanistan has not been waged to win it,” because the United States has never been determined to defeat terrorists so that it has an excuse to maintain military presence in the country, he said.
