Israel increase use of administrative detention against Palestinians

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society says Israel has issued 84 administrative detention orders against Palestinian detainees since the beginning of August. This represents an overall increase in the issuance of administrative detention orders by Israeli authorities in recent months. Rights activists say the illegal practice is meant to keep up pressure on Palestinians.
