Daesh is strategically a proxy force for the United States, because Washington needs the terrorists to pave the way for American regional intervention, says a political analyst.
“The Taliban and ISIS (Daesh) are both product of the United States of America” and the conflict in Afghanistan has not come out of nowhere, Robert Inlakesh told Press TV on Wednesday.
“This (terrorism) is all a plot by the United States in order to create more tension in the region,” Inlakesh said.
Late on Tuesday, a terrorist attack on a Shia mosque in the western Afghan city of Herat left at least 29 people dead and dozens more injured.
