Several civilians have lost their lives when the US-led coalition purportedly fighting the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group carried out a number of aerial attacks in Syria's troubled eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr.

Informed sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the airstrikes targeted Kashkieh village on Tuesday, Syria’s official news agency SANA reported.

Nearly a dozen civilians were killed on July 13, when US-led military aircraft targeted al-Diriyah neighborhood of the militant-held northern city of Raqqah. Seven of the victims were members of one family.

The US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes against what are said to be Daesh targets inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate.

The Western military alliance has repeatedly been accused of targeting and killing civilians. It has also been largely incapable of fulfilling its declared aim of destroying Daesh.

The city of Raqqah, which lies on the northern bank of the Euphrates River, was overrun by Daesh terrorists in March 2013, and was proclaimed the center for most of the Takfiris’ administrative and control tasks the next year.

Syria has been fighting different foreign-sponsored militant and terrorist groups since March 2011. UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura estimated last August that more than 400,000 people had been killed in the crisis until then.

Bomber kills four in Kurdish-held northeast Syria

A so-called monitoring group says at least four people have lost their lives when a car bomb explosion ripped through a checkpoint at a Kurdish-controlled area in Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor said on Tuesday that blast hit a checkpoint manned by Kurdish Asayesh security forces in al-Manajir village, located 20 kilometers south of Ra's al-Ayn city on the border with Turkey, overnight and killed four people.

The Britain-based group said there were two Asayesh members among the victims, noting that the identities of the other two have yet to be found out.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Tuesday’s deadly attack, but such assaults bear the hallmarks of those carried out by members of the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group.

11 killed as militants clash with Kurdish militiamen

Separately, nearly a dozen foreign-sponsored Takfiri militants were killed when they engaged in clashes with militants from the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an alliance of mostly Kurdish and Arab militia forces, in the northwestern Syrian province of Aleppo.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights four SDF militants were wounded during the fighting around the village of Ain Daqna on Monday.
