US forces deployed to Iraq to advance American agenda: Analyst

A commentator tells Press TV that US military forces are in Iraq not to fight terrorism but to advance Washington’s personal agenda and strengthen the American hegemony in the region.

In a Tuesday interview, Mark Weber, director of Institute for Historical Review, rejected the claim by the US that it is in Iraq to help the Arab nation fight terrorism, adding that Washington is in fact after imposing its control over the Iraqi government.
