Iran beat Belgium 3-2 in FIVB World League

2017 FIVB World League

Iran's national volleyball team have produced another impressive performance, this time defeating Belgium to bag their second victory at the 2017 FIVB World League.

Their Pool D1 rivals made sure Iran had to work quite hard to come out victorious as they stood firm to take the first set 25-23.

However, Belgium were soon met with the same determined Iranian side that defeated Poland in their previous game as they claimed the next two sets 25-17 and 25-22. The Red Dragons did however level the sets at 2-2 to force the game into a fifth and final set.

But with the likes of Milad Ebadipour, who scored a match-high of 20 points, along with Seyed Mohammad Mousavi and Adel Gholami, who both scored 15 points, Belgium were unable to end the game in their favor and lost the set 15-12.
