EU bank defends controversial policies

European Central Bank President Mario Draghi has defended his policy of pumping sixty billion euros per month into the eurozone economy as he appeared before lawmakers in the European Parliament. Draghi said the policy known as Quantitative Easing was necessary taking into account the economic resurgence of the 19-member eurozone.
