The UN chief’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All says the world is not on track to eradicate poverty through an energy revolution. That comes as global leaders say eradicating poverty will be impossible without ensuring access to affordable and modern energy for all, a goal meant to be achieved in 2030. Though now it’s becoming increasingly obvious that that goal was too ambitious. From the Vienna Energy Forum, Press TV’s Homa Lezgee reports.
