Iranian squash player Sajad Zareian has demonstrated rather convincing performances at the Persian Gulf Championship, and managed to clinch a bronze medal in the international tournament.
On Friday, Zareian could not defeat his Pakistani opponent Tayyab Aslam at a semifinal meet in the Persian Gulf island of Kish, and lost to him 1-3 (6-11, 11-9, 6-11 and 0-8) to take away the bronze medal.
The Persian Gulf Championship started in Kish Island, southern Iran, on April 17 and wrapped up on April 21, 2017.
The event attracted male squash players from Hong Kong, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
