Mosul liberation reveals extend of Daesh destruction

The liberation of eastern parts of the city of Mosul from Daesh has exposed the level of damage incurred to the city and its ancient landmarks by the terrorists. One of their most destructive acts, alongside murders and torture, was the destruction of the shrine of the Prophet Younis or Jonah in the ancient ruins of Nineveh.
