Israel soldier found guilty of killing wounded Palestinian

Israeli military court on Wednesday convicted army soldier who shot dead a wounded Palestinian man in al-Khalil last March. Elor Azaria is guilty of killing Abdel Fattah al-Sharif while he didn’t pose any threat. Although Palestinians have welcomed the ruling they say it changes nothing taking into consideration that the majority of the Israeli society believes Azaria was defending himself. This as politicians and military institutions are demanding President Reuven Rivlin grant him pardon.
