Persepolis have become champions of split season in Iran’s Persian Gulf League after beating the visiting Siah Jamegan Khorasan 3-0.
The reds were quick to find goals on Friday and went ahead 2-0 through Kamal Kamyabinia and Ramin Rezaeian who scored in the 8th and 11th minutes, respectively to finish the first half with the same result.
Persepolis dominated the second half as well. Mehdi Taremi was on target in the 51st minutes after a beautiful long pass by Mohsen Mosalman found Farshad Ahmadzadeh who fed Taremi in the box for the red’s 3rd.
The win seals their top spot at half season ahead of their closest rival Tractor Sazi.
