New Italian government wins final confidence vote

After winning a vote of confidence in the lower house, Italy’s new government passed the same test in the Senate. However, opposition politicians argue Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni has ignored the results of a December 4 constitutional referendum by retaining many ministers from ex-Premier Matteo Renzi's government.
