A baby monkey in South China has made it to the news after literally piggybacking on farm goats.

Chinese state television has released footage of the young monkey riding on a goat’s back in Yichun city. The three kilogram monkey has reportedly ridden several other goats to feel secure.

Young monkeys naturally depend on their mothers for transportation, often riding on their back or hanging from their neck. Local wildlife protection authorities are planning on transferring the infant to the city’s zoo temporarily before it’s old enough for the wild.
