Japan have booked their spot in the semi-finals of the AFC U-19 tournament, by overpowering Taijikistan 4-nil in Manama, Bahrain.
10 minutes into the match and Koki Ogawa managed to put Japan ahead with a cool header. The young Samurai Blues found their 2nd goal in the 40th minute, when Ritsu Doan curled a brilliant shot from the edge of the area into the top corner, making it 2-0.
Ogawa added Japan’s 3rd and his 2nd of the match after the break, and Yuto Iwasaki made in 4-nil to put the game into bet, as Japan sealed their spot into the last 4 on Monday. With the triumph the young Samurai Blues also booked their spot in the Upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup.
