Indian authorities have imposed a strict curfew in several parts of Kashmir as people in the disputed Himalayan region are marking the first month of the Islamic calendar Muharram.

As Press TV's Syed Ali Safvi reports, the ban has angered Kashmiri religious and political leaders who have condemned the move as an attack on freedom of religion.
