Israel has approved hundreds of housing units in a number of its settlements in the occupied West Bank. The approval comes amid international criticism of Tel Aviv’s persistent settlement expansion. The latest settlement plan has drawn criticism from the United States, but Palestinians say they need more than words to stop Israeli violations.
