Russia protects Crimea from destabilizing attempts

Russia has foiled a new attempted incursion by the Ukrainian military into Crimea over the weekend. Two Russian troops were killed in the ensuing clash. The attack by Ukrainian troops comes against a backdrop of Western pressures on the Kremlin over Crimea's reunion with Russia. Crimean authorities say that attempts to destabilize the region will be met with a firm response.
