Saudi embassy branded ‘Daesh bank’ in Berlin projection stunt
Human-rights activists in Germany have projected the Daesh flag together with the words “Daesh Bank” onto the Saudi embassy in Berlin. Although this was a mock operation to symbolically illustrate the Saudi funding and backing of terrorists, it showed the extent of Saudi َArabia's destructive participation in the war on Syria. There is no doubt that Saudi Arabia has been ideologically and financially funding Daesh.
US-Pakistan ties under stress
Pakistan's relations with the United States appear to have hit troubled waters. Islamabad's policy toward the Haqqani terror network is the source of new tensions with Washington. Haqqani is blamed for attacks in Afghanistan. The US State Department has announced that Congress is not prepared to support a military aid package of about 500 million dollars to Pakistan.
'Coup in Brazil'
Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro whose country has been at loggerheads with the US for decades now says he is convinced the US has had a hand in destabilizing Brazil and toppling President Rousseff. The situation in Brazil has worried Venezuela, with Maduro extending a state of emergency in the country for another 60 days. He accuses Washington of plotting against his government.
