- The UN envoy for Yemen has confirmed that the delegation of deposed President Hadi has suspended its participation in the negotiations. Ismail Sheikh Ahmed announced the news in Kuwait which is hosting the talks. The deadlock comes amid significant gains on the ground by Ansarullah fighters in Yemen.
- The departure lounge at Brussels Airport in Belgium has partially reopened. The airport was shut down almost forty days ago following deadly terrorist attacks. Brussels is still on edge as police continue to hunt down those linked to the attacks.
- A senior official in the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has resigned over his racist and sexist emails. Tom Angel used degrading language against people of color, Muslims and women. He wrote those emails while serving in Burbank Police Department near Los Angeles.
- French police have evacuated a makeshift refugee camp in Paris. The camp hosted more than one thousand refugees. This is the third time the camp has been cleared over the past several months. The refugees have now been bused to reception centers outside Paris.
