One of the examples of a successful war against terrorism is the story of the Chechen Republic, a region that was engulfed with terrorist activities in the wake of the fall of the Soviet Union. One of the major forces behind that war was the region’s President Ramazan Kadyrov. In an interview he said the war was brutal but achieved peace, stability and unity for all sections of the Chechen society. From the capital Grozny, Marina Kortunova reports.
