Iran to renew rivalry with S Korea in 2018 FIFA qualifiers

Iran to meet South Korea in 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The draw for the 3rd and final round of Asian Qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup has been held in the Malaysian Capital Kuala Lumpur.

Asian Giants Iran who have been drawn in Group A, will renew their Rivalry with top-seed South Korea in an exciting match-up as they are looking to reach their 5th World Cup finals.

They will also face Uzbekistan, China, Qatar and Syria in the 10-match home-and-away series.

Meanwhile in Group B, Australia have been pitted against Japan, Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Thailand.

Both Group Winners and Runners-Up will qualify automatically, while the 3rd-placed-teams meet in a two-legged tie.

The winner will then look to Secure their Spot at the World Cup in an inter-continental-Qualifier against the 4th-place team from CONCACAF.
