Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and allied army units have killed dozens of Saudi-led militants operating in their country. Media reports say Yemeni forces attacked a military training camp in Jawf province, killing 70 of the foreign militants and injuring some 100 others. The raid inflicted heavy losses on the Saudi-backed forces, destroying military equipment and ammunition. Elsewhere in the country, Yemeni forces have taken full control of a strategic military camp in the strait of Bab el-Mandib in Ta’izz province. Saudi Arabia hires and leads forces from its Arab and African allies to fight in Yemen. This, as Saudi warplanes conduct airstrikes across Yemen almost on a daily basis. More than one year has passed since Riyadh unleashed its devastating war on Yemen. Nearly 9,400 Yemenis have been killed so far.
