UK chancellor delivers budget filled with nasty shocks

Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has announced a slowdown in Britain’s economic growth forecast from 2.4% in November to 2.0 this year. He also unveiled a raft of new fiscal measures to contain the slowdown. The move draw the ire of Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn who described the new budget as ‘unfairness at its core’.
