More than 30 percent of adults in London have experienced homelessness, and many are still homeless.

Homelessness is a universal problem common in all metropolitan cities across the world. London is one of the cities facing such an issue. More than 30 percent of adults have experienced homelessness, and many are still homeless.

Approaching the London 2012 Olympic Games, there was a rush to clean the streets from the homeless, which led to street protests. After the Olympics buildings used by many media channels close to event arenas were left empty, many of which could be used for the homeless. It appears that the owners of the apartments have been just waiting to sell the property to the highest bidder.

Fed up with the situation, a 29-year-old started a local community initiative in Brixton. The new organization, run by the local people, was meant to help the poor, homeless, and those in need of help, giving them free food and clothing. The founders believe that the decision-makers in the government cannot make the right decision, decisions that are made mainly for the upper- and middle class, and not the poor. The video shows how people's lives are changed just because of wrong decisions. Azam, a young British homeless, told us his story, and how he became homeless.
