Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem has announced the government’s participation in this week’s Geneva talks which are meant to find a political solution to the prolonged bloody crisis. Muallem, who was speaking to reporters in Damascus, said he's optimistic that the conflict is nearing its end. Press TV’s Mohamed Ali was also present at the press briefing and sent us this report.
