US building 2 airstrips in Syria

The US is building two airstrips in northern Syria, controlled by the Kurdish YPG. This would be a slap in the face of Turkey and at the same time it would conveniently give the US more of a footing in Syria, albeit without a UN mandate.

France awards Saudi Arabia highest medal

The French president has awarded Prince Nayef, the interior minister of Saudi Arabia, the country’s highest medal, for its fight against terrorism. Yet Saudi Arabia has been accused of supporting terrorism for many years. Ironic that Saudi Arabia calls Hezbollah a terrorist organization, whose fighters have been successful against Daesh.

OIC condemns Israel

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference in Indonesia slammed Israel’s occupation of Palestine: The summit announced that Indonesia and the Islamic world are ready to take concrete steps to push Israel to end its colonization of Palestine and its arbitrary actions in al-Quds.
