A series of bomb blasts have rocked various areas across Iraq, leaving at least 15 people dead and a number of others injured.
On Wednesday, a bomb went off near a brick factory in Nahrawan district in the east of the capital, Baghdad, killing two people and injuring six others.
Another bomb blast in al-Eskan neighborhood of western Baghdad left one dead and seven others injured.
Iraqi security forces said another blast hit the industrial area of Sheikh Omar in central Baghdad, killing three people and injuring eight.
Medical sources said at least eight dead bodies and 21 injured people arrived at al-Yarmouk hospital in Baghdad following Wednesday's blasts. Two security forces were among the dead while nine of the injured were reported in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a terrorist mortar attack in al-Miqdadiyah district of the eastern Diyala province left one dead and 3 others injured.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blasts but Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has been usually blamed for such attacks.
The northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by violence ever since Daesh Takfiri militants began their march through the Iraqi territory in June 2014. Army soldiers and Popular Mobilization units are seeking to take back militant-held regions in joint operations.
