Kashmir closes down to protest India’s growing intolerance

Indian-controlled Kashmir is observing a general strike to protest against the arrest of a professor charged with sedition during a series of recent protests in Jawaharlal Nehru University. India has been accused of intolerance towards minorities in Kashmir where people have been seeking independence from the Indian rule over the past six decades.
