Iran's national team have bagged another big win at the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship in Uzbekistan. This time, the unstoppable Iranians trounced Vietnam 13-1, to set up a final showdown against the hosts.
Iran reached the semifinals following a commanding 7-nil victory over Kyrgyzstan.
On Friday, Mohammad Nazemosharia's men staged another praise-worthy performance, with some great pin-point passes to dismantle Vietnam, who had eliminated Japan in the previous round.
Farhad Tavakoli led Iran with 4 goals while Mehdi Javid added 3 and Hossein Tayebi and Mohammad Keshavarz each scored twice.
The Iranians have scored a total of 46 goals and conceded only three en route to the final. The top five teams in the tournament qualify for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia.
