Ukraine’s Western-backed government has survived a no-confidence vote at the country’s parliament. Hours before the vote, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had asked Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk to step down, citing lack of public trust and support in the legislative body.
