The Lebanese army has strengthened its positions in the strategic town of Arsal in northeastern Lebanon. It comes after fighting broke out between al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front and ISIL terrorists on the outskirts of the town that lies near the Syrian border. The Takfiri group was reportedly able to take over Nusra positions in the area
