Islamic Movement of Nigeria demands probe into Zaria incident

The Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria has staged a peaceful protest in Abuja to call for the immediate release of its leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky. The prominent cleric has been in detention for nearly a month now. The army arrested Zakzaky and many of his supporters during a crackdown on Muslims in the northern city of Zaria.
