Syrian refugee artists have showcased dozens of amazing artworks in Jordan’s capital Amman.

More than 70 pieces of artwork made by Syrian refugee artists have recently been on display at "Syria's History and Civilization" art exhibition in Amman to show the memories of their homeland.

Models of the Citadel of Aleppo that dates back to the third century BC, 2,000-year-old ruins of Palmyra and over 600-year-old Hama Waterwheel display Syria's glorious history. The models are made from poly-foam and wood. The artists believe that the cultural relics are Syrian people's common memory and losing them could lead to loss of cultural identity.
