'Nigerian cleric not allowed to contact family'

1.The family of prominent Nigerian Muslim cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky says they have not been able to contact him since his arrest by the army on Sunday.

2. UN Security Council finance ministers unanimously adopted a wide-ranging resolution aimed at ramping up sanctions against Daesh terrorists cutting off their revenues.

3. The Ansarullah movement says Saudi Arabia is taking advantage of the ceasefire and has intensified bombing of the country amid ongoing peace talks in Geneva.

4. In Iraq, security forces make advances on the outskirts of Ramadi liberating a number of neighborhoods and flushing out Daesh terrorists from the area.

5. European leaders are urged to put aside differences over the refugee crisis and restore the security of the EU's crumbling borders at a year-end summit in Brussels.
