New video footage obtained by French investigators proves the presence of a ninth terrorist who opened fire on restaurants and bars during the deadly attacks in Paris.

In the video, a third person can be seen in the car that was used in the attacks and was later found abandoned with three Kalashnikov assault rifles in eastern Paris, AFP reported on Tuesday.

The unidentified attacker is thought to be on the run with Salah Abdeslam, who apparently attacked people in Paris' 10th and 11th districts with his brother Brahim Abdeslam. Brahim later blew himself up outside a cafe on Boulevard Voltaire before police could apprehend him.

Seven of the terrorists died during the attacks that claimed the lives of at least 132 people and injured 350 others in the French capital late on Friday.

Earlier on Tuesday, French police found a cell phone belonging to the terrorists with a final listed message of "okay, we're ready.”

Police in France have stepped up the hunt for 26-year-old Abdeslam. Multiple raids have been carried out on homes and properties nationwide, in the cities of Reims, Toulouse and Strasbourg to find any clues related to the terrorist attacks.

French authorities have so far identified five of the seven dead attackers: Samy Amimour, a 28-year-old Frenchman charged in a terrorism investigation in 2012; Ahmad al-Mohammad, a 25-year-old Syrian born in the city of Idlib; Brahim Abdeslam, 31, and Bilal Hadfi, 20, both living in Belgium; and 29-year-old French-born Omar Ismail Mostefai.
