In a new propaganda video, the Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group has threatened the US and its allies with deadly attacks similar to those carried out in Paris last week.
The terror group conducted a series of coordinated attacks in the French capital on Friday night, killing at least 132 people.
The new video begins by showing the aftermath of the deadly attacks, showing elsewhere footage of victims in body bags being loaded into ambulances.
Then, a man who is identified in the subtitles as al-Ghareeb the Algerian, delivers a message to the US and the rest of the countries involved in the “crusader campaign” against the group, Reuters reported Monday.
“As we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington," the man says in the video.
He also warns that more attacks are on the way in Europe.
"I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before," the terrorist adds.
Later on in the video, another man who is identified as “al-Karrar the Iraqi” addresses French President Francois Hollande, "We have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels," in an apparent reference to international talks to end the Syrian conflict.
The video is purported to be the work of the terror group’s members in the Iraqi province of Salahuddin, north of Baghdad.
Earlier, Daesh released a similar video threatening Russia in retaliation for the country’s airstrikes that have been targeting the Takfiri terrorist group in Syria since late September.
Mostly active in Iraq and Syria, the ISIL has managed to expand its campaign of terror into other countries, including Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan.
The Takfiri group periodically releases propaganda videos that depict gruesome scenes such as videotaped beheadings and summary executions. Daesh also runs a very active social media campaign aimed at recruiting foreigners through social media.
