US in a state of panic over Russia’s move in Syria: American author

A video grab made on October 15, 2015, shows a Russian airstrike against ISIL in Syria.

The United States is “in a state of panic” over airstrikes by Russian forces against Daesh Takfiris in Syria, an American activist says.

Russians are the ones who can “in fact” defeat the “entire terror apparatus” in the region, said Michael O. Billington in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday, tacitly undermining the airstrikes by US and some of its allies against the terrorists.

The Asia editor for the Executive Intelligence Review further censured the West and Persian Gulf states for “backing up all of the Wahhabi terrorist apparatus, which the US has been collaborating with.”

The significance of the Russian bombardment of ISIL positions is not only that they “can win” but also on the demonstration of the fact that they have “an extraordinary military power that was unknown in the West… before this event.”

On the other hand, the US has just made attempts to “protect” the militants by “carrying out certain limited bombing” to keep the Syrian forces away from the terror group.

The author of the book titled “Reflections of an American Political Prisoner: the Repression and Promise of the LaRouche Movement” said further that the planned sale as many as four littoral combat ships to Saudi Arabia by Pentagon, reported earlier, is part of the US support for its Arab ally amid this crisis.

“The Frankenstein monster that they [Saudis] created along with the US is a threat to them as well.”

Since September 30, Russia has been pounding the positions of Daesh and those of other terrorist groups in Syria upon a request by the Damascus government.

The militants have been committing war crimes against the people and the cultural heritage of Syria as well its Muslim neighbor, Iraq.
