Israel kidnapped 562 Palestinians in September: Palestinian Prisoners Society

The Palestinian Prisoners Society says Israeli forces kidnapped over 500 Palestinians last month. The number includes dozens of children who are being beaten while in detention.

Nearly three hundred of those targeted were kidnapped in Jerusalem al-Quds. They were mostly taken into custody after the clashes that followed the Israeli settlers storming of al-Aqsa Mosque. The Palestinian Prisoners Society also said a total of 230 Palestinian children are in Israeli detention, where they are subjected to physical and psychological torture. The children are also denied basic rights such as the right to family visits and legal representation.
