At least two people have been killed in attacks by Takfiri terrorists in the central Syrian city of Homs and near the capital, Damascus.
Foreign-backed Takfiri terrorists targeted al-Wafideen Camp, located in the neighborhood of the capital, with mortar shells, killing at least a civilian and injuring three others.
According to a Syrian police source, the casualties took place in al-Thawra quarter in the neighborhood after the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” Takfiri terrorists targeted the area with two mortar shells.
It was also said that the attack caused material damage to a number of houses in the neighborhood.
In a similar incident, Takfiri terrorists fired two mortar shells at the residential area of Abu Rummana in the city of Damascus, causing only material damage.
In addition, Syrian official news agency SANA quoted a source at Homs Police Command as saying that a car bomb explosion hit the al-Sitin Street in the al-Zahraa neighborhood of Homs, killing a civilian.
It was also said that at least 12 people were injured and material damage was caused to the citizens’ property in the terrorist bomb attack.
Cities and towns across Syria have been witnessing bomb attacks as well as mortar and rocket fire by Takfiri terrorists since a deadly foreign-backed conflict broke out in the Arab country more than four years ago.
On Monday, at least four civilians were killed and four others were injured in two car bomb attacks by terrorists on the southeastern outskirts of the city of Ras al-Ayn in the northern countryside of Hasakah Province.
On Sunday, fourteen people, including seven children, lost their lives and 25 others sustained injuries when mortar shells fired by militants struck al-Maidan neighborhood of the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, located 355 kilometers (220 miles) north of Damascus.
The conflict in Syria, which started in March 2011, has reportedly claimed more than 240,000 lives up until now.
