A bomb explosion in Pakistan's east central city of Multan has left at least ten people dead and 59 injured, officials say.
The powerful blast took place near a packed rickshaw stand in Punjab Province on Sunday, Pakistani media reported.
Earlier reports had described the explosion as a cylinder blast, but District Coordination Officer (DCO) Salim Zahid Gondal said that it had been a bombing.
"It seems that the bomb was fitted in the motorcycle," Multan police official Azhar Akram added.
The injured have been transferred to hospital.
Police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the blast. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the attack.
