Settler Attacks

Palestinians mourn over the body of 14-year-old Laith Khaldi, who died of his wounds after he was shot by the Israeli army, during his funeral on August 1, 2015, in Jalazon refugee camp, north of Ramallah, in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. (AFP)

As of late settler attacks are on the rise, with different groups such as “Price Tag” and “Lehava” who commit acts of vandalism and violence against the Palestinians.

The latest of these crimes was the arson attack against the Dawabshe family in the village of Doma near Nablus, which left baby Ali Dawabshe (18 months old) burned alive, similar to what happened to Mohammad Abu Khdeir, a year ago.

This attack was carried out by the so-called “Price Tag” group, a group of Israeli settlers who are aiming to drive Palestinians out of the region through terrorism.

Other incidents have occurred over the short few days that have passed.Usually after an attack, settlers mark the area using graffiti in Hebrew.
