An Iraqi parliamentary committee has voted to submit to the judiciary a report on the fall of the city of Mosul. The report calls for the trial of former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki and dozens of other top officials. It will also be referred to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who can decide on referring the accused to a court martial. However, at a press conference in Tehran Maliki rejected the allegations and questioned the credibility of the committee’s report.
