Scottish National Party is standing on the verge of a historic landslide victory in general elections in Scotland.
The party won by 10,000 votes in Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath which had previously been held by former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
SNP has already ousted Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy. It also won Glasgow North East with a record swing of 39.3%. The party has won all seven seats in Glasgow from Labour, while former party leader Alex Salmond will be returning to the House of Commons after winning the Gordon constituency from the Liberal Democrats.
An exit poll has predicted the SNP will win 58 of Scotland's 59 seats, while the Conservatives will be the largest party across the UK.
This is turning into not just a bad night, not just a terrible night, but an absolute out-and-out disaster that threatens the existence of the Labour Party in Scotland.
