Self-driving cars could be operating in thirty US cities by 2017.
The first step will be to roll out automated pilot projects this year that will start in Florida. Trials will then be set to launch in up to 20 locations around the country by the end of 2016. The tests will use vehicles varying from two-seaters to large buses that have been developed by a French company. The aim of the trials is said to be collecting data to help with the regulations that will legalize driverless cars.
