Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through the streets of Berlin on Saturday to show solidarity with Gaza residents and call for an end to the Israeli war on the besieged territory.

Footage from the demonstration shows participants carrying placards with messages such as 'You cannot build a holy land on mass graves of children' and 'Stop the Genocide.'

One protester emphasized the need for Germany to reconsider its approach to the conflict, urging the country to stop sending weapons and take a stand on Palestinian history and a two-state solution.

"Germany must stop sending weapons and finally take a stand on Palestinian history and our two-state solution," the demonstrator said.

Ali Marof, another participant, spoke about the need to raise voices and bring attention to the situation in West Asia.

"We must raise our voices so that the public takes notice. All people must stand up for the freedom of Palestine and the rights of the Palestinians. This Middle East conflict must find a solution so that Jews, Muslims, and Christians can live in peace," Marof stated.

A day earlier, several people were detained at a pro-Palestinian demonstration at Berlin's Humboldt University after they were heard using hate speech, police said.
